 A lover of fine jewelry and a devoted shopper, Joyce E. Nelson, owner of Cosmopolitan Jewels, began designing and creating jewelry to appease her appetite for the finer things. From a lifetime of perusing the world's most exclusive shops, she knows well the latest in fashion trends, and knows also what appeals to the sophisticated woman.
Her handcrafted earrings, bracelets and necklaces are made with the finest quality precious gemstones and pearls. Each gemstone is hand selected for its finest quality & cut then individually wire wrapped creating a one-of-a-kind design in imaginative color combinations. The designs range from the trendy and up-to-the-minute, to the timeless and elegant, and will bring the shine of grace and luxury to every occasion, whether in the boardroom, lounging at a casual luncheon or dancing through the night at an evening gala.
Nelson's creativity and sense of style spring from many influences. A successful businesswoman as well as a longtime civic activist, she has spent her life protecting the beauty she sees around her. From restoring historical landmarks or preserving the ancient Banyan trees in her hometown of Coconut Grove, Florida, she has always possessed a keen eye for beauty and quality. This, combined with her education as a Master of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Design and her travels around the world, brings to her jewelry designs a decidedly sophisticated and cosmopolitan flair that will appeal to all women who yearn for a touch of elegance.
Cosmopolitan Jewels already has a growing following. Its designs have been featured in shows at various exclusive galleries, as well as sold in a select number of high-end international boutiques.
